Car based walk with John Ireland & Andy Buckley.
Car travel details added!
A walk up along the old railway out of Keswick to Castlerigg Stone Circle, then back down to the lake and along the shore past Friar's Crag into Keswick. (93)
We will be travelling up on the Friday night to lead a walk on the Saturday and Sunday. Please feel free to join us for either or both walks.
All you need to do is sort out your own transport, and MAD has arranged accomodation in a pleasant bunkhouse located at Hawse End - between Cat Bells and Derwent Water - which is a short lakeside walk (or launch ride!) from Keswick - See the Weekends Page for more details.
Alternatively, plenty of good hotels and B&Bs are available in Keswick.
Meet & Travel arrangements - Car Sharing
