Public Transport based walk with Ken Banks.
This is the same walk I did back in April; hopefully we'll catch the end of the Autumn Colours or if it rains a lot this week the first of the Winter ones. A low level walk with the ascent spread throughout the walk. This walk takes in a mixture of back lanes, bridleways and footpaths. We follow Pingots Lane out of Broadbottom up to Wathill, hop the A57, skirt Hollingworth round to Arnfield, through Tintwhistle, sweep round the top of Bottoms Resevoir then up over the hill to Glossop. All being well there will be a pub stop at the Bulls head in Tintwhistle and for those that don't have to rush off there will be the opportunity for a bit of socialising and a few drinks in Glossop at the Star Inn.
As I say it's mostly bridleway and track so not too boggy, that being said this is England and it is raining at lot at the moment so bring your waterproofs.
Walk Leader will meet at Walk Start in Broadbottom
