Public Transport based walk with Steve Rawlins.
Nothing too strenuous for the last walk before Christmas ensuring there is plenty of time for a few festive drinks at the end! Also perfect for walking off any hangovers from the night before!
Starting at the railway bridge near the station, we'll make our way through Edale and following Grindsbrook Brook until we reach the steep but quick climb up Grindsbrook Clough. Once up the top we'll head over to Crowdon Tower, the Wool Packs and join the Pennine way decending Jacob's ladder, through Upper Booth and back to Edale in plenty of time for plenty of festive drinks!
Some spots may be a little wet and/or boggy so gaitors/waterproofs recommended!
Toilet facilties are available at the car park near the station at the beginning and end of the walk - there is plenty of park here should anyone wish to drive and meet at the start: Post Code S33 7ZP
