Public Transport based walk with Steve Rawlins.
Springtime walk starting from Hadfield train station, making our way over to Tintlewistle moor and into open Moorland gradually climbing towards Lad's Leap giving great views over the Longdendale (Woodhead) reservoirs. Dropping down quickly near Crowdon we'll then make our away across to the opposite side of the Woodhead reservoirs before joining the Pennine Way and climbing up Clough Edge and heading towards Bleaklow Head and the Hern Stones. From here we'll visit the 'overexposed' Super Fortress air crash site and then the Lower Shelf stones and then descending gradually ending in a pub in Glossop.
