A wintry wander (weather permitting!) from Chapel en le Frith to Whaley Bridge, taking in Combs Reservoir and Eccles Pike amongst other places.

We’ll use public transport from Manchester to travel to and return from the walk start/end.

09:30: Meet at Manchester Piccadilly for the train at 09:52. You will need to purchase a ticket prior to meeting.
Return to Chapel en le Frith £9.60
09:52: Train departs for the walk start at Chapel-en-le-Frith Railway Station.
10:40: Walk starts at Chapel-en-le-Frith Railway Station.
Return from Whaley Bridge Station. 1646, 1744, 1846.

Given the festive nature of the season, we will be availing ourselves of several hostelries on route, notably the Navigation at Bugsworth and The Goyt in Whaley.
