Public Transport based walk suitable for new walkers, with Stu Edwards & Katherine Hamlett.
**PART TWO OF A TWO PART WALK. WALK LEADERS MEETING AT WALK START**
Following on from Part I - 'A Shrine to the Goyt' (and after a refreshing tipple for those that participated!) we head towards the Ornamental Pavilion Gardens and shadowy woodland park. With our torch light picking out the path ahead we begin our climb towards Solomon's Temple. This 20m high circular tower is perched at 440m on a ridge due south of Buxton, with 360 degree panoramas of the surrounding countryside. We then follow a similar path back to one of Buxton's finest pubs where we have secured exclusive use of the upper rooms and bar for those wishing to join us for a hearty meal and real ale!
