Public Transport based walk suitable for new walkers, with Alan Beeby and Niall MacLennan.
A short walk from the village of Holmfirth. Famous for being the setting for Last of the Summer Wine. Walking out of the village we enter the Holmfirth country park and the surrounding hills. Quick lunch stop at Brownhil reservoir (don't fill up too much) and we return to Holmfirth for the food and drink festival.
