The Radcliffe Way

Public Transport based walk with Alan Beeby.

13.0 mi

This walk starts alongside the Rochdale Canal. Once we leave the canal we start our ascent up to Warland and Light Hazzles reservoirs, before heading along to Blackstone Edge reservoir and passing the White House pub. After this we head around Blackstone Edge Moor and along the Pennie Way over the M62. From here the route follows parallel to the motorway through windy hills before going along Rochdale Way and other Brindleways to Hollingworth Lake. A quick tour in Cleggswood leads us back to the train station
