Public Transport based walk suitable for new walkers, with Al.
This is a nice easy evening walk. We use the metro to get to the walk. Take a gentle stroll along a disused railway track beside Elton Reservoir, along a disused canal and also along the Irwell Sculpture Trail. There is the possibility of a detour, depending on bridge repairs. At the end, we will end up in Bury for a quick drink or two. This will hopefully be a joint walk on the weekend walkers.
