Introduction to Scrambling : Cribau, Snowdon

If you've never been on a scramble before but want to try one, then this could be for you. Cribau is a relatively wide ridge which connects the Miner's track up Snowdon to the southern side of the Snowdon horseshoe.  It's a proper scramble and whilst there is some level of exposure to heights, it's nowhere near as exposed as the nearby Crib Goch.

10:00: Meet at the walk start (Pen-y-Gwryd Hotel, Layby Parking)

Waypoints: Pen-y-Pass, Pyg Track, Trial Levels, Cribau, Watkin Path, Snowdon summit, Pyg Track


There are a limited number of places on this walk to allow the walk leader to offer support where necessary during scrambling.  Max 12 places - email scrambles@madwalkers.org.uk to book.
