Public Transport based walk with Gavin.
LINEAR JOINT WALK WITH THE MANCHESTER WEEKEND WALKERS
A linear section of the Pennine Way in the Dales that, although it doesn't take in the major peaks, it's rather beautiful. There are several faster sections of tracks and but there's still a lot to do! Please ensure that you're able to do a consistent 2.5 miles/hour, and you're carrying at least 1 litre of water. On the way up, there's a short coffee break in Clitheroe, whilst awaiting for our Dalesrail service. At the end, we arrive into Hawes where we will arrange for a taxi down to Garsdale station, with hopefully time for a quick pint probably at the Moorcock.
