Public Transport based walk suitable for new walkers, with Alan Beeby and John Ireland.
Summer's here, so how about a Picnic in the Park? We'll have a walk around Heaton Park, see various unusual architecural phenomena, revisit one of the locations of 'Big Chimp' and then have a picnic, then walk back through past a Pope once stood for a nice drink at a pub. Let's just hope it stays sunny!

It's a picnic, so bring stuff to sit on, copious amounts of food and lashings of ginger beer. If the weather is inclement a 'Plan B' option will be prepared. It is also along well made paths, so full-on walking gear isn't necessary.
