It is that time of year again for our annual Santa Walk, this year this will be taking place in the picturesque village of Whalley (South of Clitheroe) in the Ribble valley where we will have a stroll around the local area of Billington and Old Langho before heading back to Whalley to arrive at The Swan Hotel Pub between 1400 and 1500 for Christmas Lunch.
Meet & Travel arrangements - Public Transport
We’ll use public transport from Manchester to travel to and return from the walk start/end.

10:45: Meet at Manchester Victoria for the train at 11:00. You will need to purchase a ticket prior to meeting.
Return from Victoria £9.30/ Duo ticket (2 adults for the price of 1 ½) £13.95
11:00: Train departs for the walk start at Whalley Station.
12:06: Walk starts at Whalley Station.
Return from Whalley Station. **14
Waypoints: Whalley Viaduct, Chew Mill, Lower Elker, Langholme, Hollin Hall.
This walk is a pre-book walk and is open to members only. There is a charge of £20 to cover the three course Christmas meal at the end of the walk(meal charge £15.95), the remainder of the charge will be donated to the Bolton Mountain Rescue. Christmas fancy dress optional (weather permitting), although walking boots must be worn. Bookings open at the AGM on 2nd November, with remaining tickets available for email booking from 00:01 on 3rd November. There is a total of 34 places available.
