Public Transport based walk with Sarah Peppiatt.
A relatively long walk from Marsden to Hadfield, mostly following the Pennine Way done at a fast pace (4.5 hours to complete the 15 miles) in order to allow the walk leader to pick up the second walk of the day at Hadfield!

Return from Hadfield Station. **00, **30
Waypoints: Marsden; Wessenden Reservoir; Black Hill; Laddow Rocks; Lads Leap; Valehouse Reservoir; Hadfield (or if time pushing Laddow Rocks; Crowden; Longendale Trail; Hadfield)
Because the walk leader has to be in Hadfield for 2pm this walk will be done fast. Please don't come on this unless you're sure you can maintain the pace indicated in the description over rough terrain and a lot of ascent.
Second walk of the day carries straight on, making a total of 22.5 miles if you come on both, but at a much reduced pace(!). The rail ranger ticket will cover return from the second walk as well.
