A challenging circular walk from Buxton, dropping south to the stunning ridges of Ramshaw Rocks and the Roaches before returning over Axe Edge Moor.
Meet & Travel arrangements - Public Transport
We’ll use public transport from Manchester to travel to and return from the walk start/end.

08:45: Meet at Manchester Piccadilly for the train at 08:52. You will need to purchase a ticket prior to meeting.
Either return to Buxton (£9.60) or if travelling in to Piccadilly from within the Manchester area a Wayfarer ticket (£11) may be cheaper.
08:52: Train departs for the walk start at Buxton Train Station.
09:55: Walk starts at Buxton Train Station.
Return from Buxton Train Station. x:29 aiming for 18:29
Waypoints: Buxton Country Park; Axe Edge End; Ramshaw Rocks; Roaches; Gradbrach Woods; Turn Edge; Axe Edge Moor; Burbage; Buxton
This is a long walk with a lot of climbing and still quite early in the year. Please be confident you can do the walk at a reasonable pace before coming on it.
