Public Transport based walk with John Ireland & Andy Buckley.
***BOOKING ESSENTIAL - OPEN TO MEMBERS ONLY***
Well, it is that time of the year for the annual Santa Walk. This year we are visiting the Calder Valley town of Todmorden. Where we will do a 5 mile circular which involves woods, country lanes and after a climb a small section of the Calder Valley Way with some (hopefully) decent views before heading back to Todmorden and The Queen Hotel for our 3 course christmas meal. Where we are booked in from 4pm.
We have 50 places available on this walk and the cost for the Santa Walk this year is £16, with a minimum of £3 per person being donated to two MRT's. The Calder Valley and the Ogwen (Snowdonia) MRT.
Bookings will open at the AGM on Wednesday 6th November and is open to MAD Walkers only (please bring your membership card along with you).
As usual if you fancy coming along on this walk in a Santa hat or even full christmas costume please feel free to do so. If the past Santa Walks are anything to go by this will be another great day.
***Santa Walk is now fully booked, reserve list is now in operation. If you wish to go on the reserve list please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org- members only***
