How to avoid the Pennine way

Public Transport based walk with David Bratley.

17.0 mi

A fast paced walk (avg. 4-5 Kph) over rough boggy Moorland with Steep off path ascents and descents. This walk if the weather is good will give great and exhilerating views!

We start on good paths which after a while turn into fun bog! after about 2hrs we'll stop for our first snack break, after which we have a long ascent upto Kinder downfall where after about another 1.5 hrs we'll have our second snack break. Then over the top and down to the River Ashop were we may optionally have a third snack break after this it's over the hill and down to Doctors gate on which we'll have our final  snack break of the day before arriving in Glossop for a well deserved drink.

Please note we'll not be having a proper lunch stop just a series of 10 minute breaks.
