Tis the season to be jolly, with tinsel and holly.

With this in mind it must mean it is time for the Santa Walk again and this year it will take place in Buxton. The walk begins by meandering through the streets of Buxton beforeheading over to Wye Dale followed by the idyllic hamlets of King Strendale and Cowdale and then under to statuesque railway viaduct and then back along the roads into Buxton, were there will be time to peruse the Christmas Weekend Wonderland event at the Pavillion Gardens.

Sandwiches for lunch will be needed as the 3 course christmas meal this year will be at about 5:30pm at The Old Club House and will cost £20 (£2 going to the local mountain rescue team like last year), the menu is below to give you some idea what is available.
