We'll arrive from Manchester at Todmorden Train Station 0913, where we'll walk over to the bus station to catch the bus to Walk Mill

After getting the train to Todmorden, we'll take a 15 minute bus ride to Walk Mill, where we ascend up to the Singing Ringing Tree scuplture, one of the Panopticons of East Lancashire. We head down past a reservoir, and then along moorland and through woodland, taking in lovely views, back to Todmorden.

We’ll use public transport from Manchester to travel to and return from the walk start/end.

08:30: Meet at Manchester Victoria for the train at 08:48. You will need to purchase a ticket prior to meeting.

Suggested ticket:

Off-peak day return to Todmorden £7.70

Northern Duo- buy one get one half price

Bus from Todmorden Bus Station to Walk Mill (589 or 592), single ticket £2.70

08:48: Train departs for the walk start at Todmorden Station.

09:13: Walk starts at Todmorden Station.

Return from Todmorden Station. 1604 then at xx15 xx36 xx04 until 2004, thenxx36

Waypoints: Walk Mill, Crown Point, Clowbridge Reservoir, Rossendale Way, Deerplay Moor, Burnley Way, Lower Moor, Todmorden Train Station

Extra:

Try and bring change for the bus!

Use toilets on train as none at train station or walk start

Parts of the walk are likley to be boggy if it's been raining

If driving park at Todmorden Train Station and meet us there 0913 to catch the bus
