Public Transport based walk with Sarah Peppiatt.
A long walk from Macclesfield taking in two of the highest peaks in Cheshire, along with a visit to Macclesfield Forest and some spectacular scenery en route (weather permitting!) The walk finishes at Whaley Bridge, allowing the extra keen to join Stu's walk in the dark to Eccles Pike straight after (or possibly with a short interval for liquid refreshment).

This is a long walk with a lot of climbing late in the year: please be sure you can do this at a brisk pace, especially as we are aiming to finish in time to join up with Stu's second walk. Please also bring a torch just in case we don't make it in the light.
If you are joining Stu's walk at the end, the Wayfarer ticket will get you home after that as well.
