Public Transport based walk with Phil Walters.
The group leader will meet at the walk start at Marsden Station.
A linear walk over the moors pass 5 reservoirs to the village of Brockholes (just north of the town of Holmfirth). We will take the train back to Huddersfield (which will cost £1.75). There will then be the opportunity to have a few beers in some of the real ale pubs around the centre of Huddersfield before catching the train back to Manchester.

We’ll use public transport from Manchester to travel to and return from the walk start/end.

10:10: Meet at Manchester Victoria for the train at 10:27. You will need to purchase a ticket prior to meeting.
A return ticket to Huddersfield on Northern Rail is £11.60. You will also need to buy a ticket from Brockholes to Huddersfield for £1.75 on the train.
