Public Transport based walk suitable for new walkers, with Nicky Bryan.
This circular route takes in the contrasting landscapes of the gritstone edges with the softer views of a riverside walk. From Grindleford station we head up initially steeply and then along Froggatt Edge and Curbar Edge via Hay Wood before descending into Curbar village for a pub stop at The Bridge. Then it's back to Grindleford via the banks of the river Derwent and Upper Padley. Refreshments at the end of the walk can be found in the station cafe!
