We’ll use public transport from Manchester to travel to and return from the walk start/end.
Itinerary is below - click station links for map and further information.

09:30: Meet at Manchester Piccadilly for the train at 09:48. You will need to purchase a ticket prior to meeting.

Suggested ticket:

Day return: £8.30, or a duo ticket where the second adult travels half price: £12.45

09:48: Train departs for the walk start at Congleton Station.

10:30: Walk starts at Congleton Station.

Return from Congleton Station. xx:12

Waypoints: Macclesfield Canal, Havannah, Eaton Village, Cockmoss Wood, Marton Village (famous for having the oldest timber-framed church in Europe), Wornish Nook, Radnor Bridge and Congleton Town Centre


This train also calls at Stockport.

No toilets at Congleton Station.
