Walk leader to meet at walk start

Both scenic and muddy in equal measure, this walk takes in such delights as Wernerth Low with its panaromic views of Manchester and the Peak District, Etherow Country Park, some pretty woodlands and a farm strewn with various bits of motor vehicles. After a final amble along the side of the Etherow, its back to Broadbottom for some fine Green Mill ale.

The recce was pretty waterlogged in parts, so Gaiters or Waterproofs would be a good idea.
