The sights and sounds of Altrincham

Public Transport based walk suitable for new walkers, with Jon Flitney.

The walk goes along Navigation Road to join the Bridgewater canal, which we follow as the scenery changes from an urban and industrial setting to Cheshire countryside. The canal is left behind at Woodhouse Lane to walk through Dunham Park and then after dodging a few balls on the golf course into the centre of Altrincham.

There might be time for a drink in Altrincham afterwards.

Walk leader meeting at walk start.
