Public Transport based walk with Jonny Franklin.

Starting from Hathersage; paths are used to Leadmill Bridge with a short ascent to Hazelford and on along High Low Brook to Abney Clough and into the hamlet of Abney itself. Here the ascent onto Smelting Hill and Offerton Moor; the paths traverse the edge of the hills to Bradwell Edge. There is a steep descent down into the village (lunch stop) with an Ice Cream parlour. Fields are used to reach Shatton Lane and the ford and cottages. A track is used to reach Offerton Hall where a path leads to the riverside back to Leadmill Bridge. The pub here is a 10 to 15 min walk from Hathersage Station.

Please bring waterproofs and boots, will be muddy underfoot and also bring bring a packed lunch and water
