Public Transport based walk suitable for new walkers, with Arthur Embleton.
This gentle walk sees us walking in the Blackburn with Darwen unitary authority. Of course, we will be keeping well away from Blackburn itself and staying in the beautiful countryside near Entwistle. We will be walking past Wayoh Reservoir, Turton Tower and the Turton and Entwistle Reservoir. We will be finishing at the Strawberry Duck pub in Entwistle which is next to the railway station.
We will be proceeding at a gentle pace and this is suitable for new walk members. Bring a packed lunch and water.
