Public Transport based walk suitable for new walkers, with Angela Robinson.
We'll use canal and river paths to head out of Sowerby Bridge town centre. The gradual climb out of Copley leads us through woodland and past some picturesque streams, onto Norland Moor. We'll get panoramic views of the area if the weather is good. After visiting the trig point, we meander back down into the valley via footpaths and some short sections on quiet roads. Before getting the train back to Victoria there are some nice options for drinks, including the Jubilee Refreshment Rooms on the train station platform.
