Public Transport based walk suitable for new walkers, with Jonny Franklin.
Starting from Whaley Bridge; the route takes in Toddbrook Reservoir, the route usies the Goyt Valley Way to Taxal church. After this the first ascent occurs up to Windgather Rocks before descending Taxal Edge and down to the quiet village of Kettleshulme. Fields are crossed before a second climb up to Bowstones Hill and then into Lyme Park and over to the Cage before dropping down to Disley; where there will be a pub stop.
Please bring waterproofs and walking boots. Fields and woodlands will be muddy

09:30: Meet at Manchester Piccadilly for the train at 09:49. You will need to purchase a ticket prior to meeting.
