Public Transport based walk with Ravi Menghani and Dean Beaden.
A star studded cast head from Marple Station, in search of an adventure...
From Marple station we'll join the Peak Forest Canal, then head east to follow the River Etherow to Etherow Country Park. From there it's uphill, through woodland until the views open up across Cheshire.
Descending into a deep little valley we'll reach the hamlet of Hollywood End. Then it's back uphill, to the church above Mellor and another short stretch of uphill, to be rewarded (if the weather is kind) with views over to the Kinder's Great Plateau.
We'll then head down to the small and secluded hamlet of Brook Bottom, after which we'll pick up the Goyt Way and follow this back to the Peak Forest Canal and Marple for post walk drinks.
