Public Transport based walk with John Ireland.
A walk around the Moss going out towards Southport, a favoured habitat for migrating wildfowl and other birds for the Winter - we will be starting from Burscough Bridge and will be passing by Martin Mere Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust and also the Mere Sands Wood nature reserve, before going back along the canal to the start for refreshments and then the train home.

We’ll use public transport from Manchester to travel to and return from the walk start/end.

10:15: Meet at Manchester Piccadilly for the train at 10:31. You will need to purchase a ticket prior to meeting.
Reutrn to Burscough Bridge £8.70
10:31: Train departs for the walk start at Burscough Bridge Train Station.
11:35: Walk starts at Burscough Bridge Train Station.
Return from Burscough Bridge Train Station. 16:14, 17:14
