Public Transport based walk suitable for new walkers, with Dean Beaden.
Starting from Wilmslow station, we will quickly join the Bollin Valley way, making our way towards Mottram.
From here we will link up to North Cheshire way, heading towards Alderley Edge, where we will explore the woodland, which is steeped in legend and hopefully be gifted with views across Cheshire, Lancashire and beyond!
As autumn will be in full swing, it is advisable to bring a torch/headlamp for this walk, as we will aim to reach our main view point at dusk. However it may not be a certainty that we will need them.
We will then finish the last section through the remaining woodland and into Alderley town centre, for a well-deserved pub stop!
