Public Transport based walk with Andy Buckley.
This walk is for MAD Walkers Members only and must be booked onto the walk to attend.
The annual Santa Walk is upon us. This years walk is a linear walk from Todmorden to Hebden Bridge with a slight climb out of Todmorden to the lower path below Stoodley Pike. After the initial climb the rest of the walk is either on undulating roads or good paths and tracks.
This walk will be at a leisurely pace to enjoy the festivities of the season and christmas fancy dress is an option (this can range from a Santa Hat to full costume), if you do this please still bring your waterproofs in case of rain.
The cost of this walk is £21, this is to pay for the 3 course Christmas meal we will have in The Shoulder of Mutton at the end of the walk and also £2 of the cost will be donated to the local Mountain Rescue Team.
Booking will open at 9am on Monday 16th October. Please e-mail email@example.com with Santa Walk 2017 as the subject matter and include your membership number in your e-mail as well.
