Public Transport based walk with John Ireland.
Walk leader joining train at New Mills Central
A linear walk from Edale to New Mills via a different route to the usual, avoiding Kinder and the Pennine Way. Instead, after a steady ascent to Rushup Edge we go over the open moorland on top of Colbourne Tunnel to Brown Knoll, then South Head and over the ridge above Chinley into New Mills for a drink at the end.
