Bank Holiday Gander

Public Transport based walk with Luke Burley.

9.5 mi

640m

A bit of a well trodden classic route to round off the bank holiday weekend.

We start with the main climb of the day heading up Grindsbrook Clough before making our way north-westerly across the Kinder plateau towards Kinder Downfall.

from there we head south along Kinder Edge before making our way down Jacobs Ladder and into Edale.

There is a short slightly off-piste section across the moorland in the middle which chances are will be quite boggy if it rains over the weekend, but with the current heatwave we may be ok! But just incase, bring your best waterproof boots!
