Public Transport based walk with Stephen Smith.
The first of a three part series of walks today. An early start and a finish by the early afternoon. Can be done on its own, or linked to Parts two or three - an opportunity for anyone who wants to see how far they can walk, with several mix and match options for the day.
This is a walk from Burnley to Todmorden, bouncing from one side of the valley to the other, then back again. We visit the singing ringing tree and skirt past a wind farm.
We'll need to be walking briskly to make it to Tod in time for the start of the next walk and for people to *briefly* take the opportunity to top-up on refreshments in Tod. There are options for cutting this walk short, which we might need to do if we’re in danger of missing our next walk.
Walk Leader meeting at walk start
