Evening Walk: The Garden & The Chapel

Public Transport based walk suitable for new walkers, with Katherine Hamlett & Stu Edwards.

3.5 mi

108m

Walk leaders meeting at walk start.

Tucked away in the heart of the country park and taking its name from the 7th Century missionary St Chad, sits the historic Chadkirk chapel with its beautiful walled garden. Easy paths take us through open fields and woodland before returning via the peaceful canal for a Thursday evening tipple - where this service terminates!
