Walk Leaders joining train at Romiley

A short trip on the train brings us to New Mills in the High Peak. Here, we meet the River Goyt and wander the beckoning paths and tracks along the valley floor. This varied, circular route takes us past weirs, towpaths, pastures and along the Mid Shires Way before returning back to New Mills. Perhaps the highlight of the walk is the spectacular section over the Millennium Walk Way - the 175 yards, cantilevered, elevated steel walkway over the rushing Goyt! OR is it just the 28 minutes until the pub stop?!!
