Railway History Walk

Public Transport based walk with Gavin.

13.0 mi

A circular walk around Newton-le-Willows connecting places of notable rail history to the Britain and the world but you don't have to be a steam fanatic as it's still a pleasant fairly flat walk. On a few occasions we suddenly appear in suburbia following roads but then disappear again into leafy lanes. One of these is just over halfway for a sneeky pub stop. We get the opportunity to get a horse eye view too!
