Public Transport based walk suitable for new walkers, with Tom Whitehead.
A classic stroll along the best ridge in The Peak District. From Hope station we ascend Lose Hill, continue along the ridge to Hollins Cross and Mam Tor before heading for Lords Seat, the summit of Rushup Edge.
We then meander our way back down to Edale and wait for the train in the pub.
An excellent chance to recover from the celebrations of New Year's Eve. Straighforward path walking for the entire walk (for a change) but of course it is likely to be boggy in places.
