A half-moon walk

Public Transport based walk with Dan Sovercliffe.

The walks coordinator thinks this one is an April fool!

A fun walk close to home without anybody popping too far from Manchester, and so we don't need to go too quick. Step quietly in the wood and, as wildlife around here aren't used to seeing folk, we may even see a fox trot across our path. As we swing around the hook in the river, we might see a cormorant or a shag drying its wings. On other side is the very 'en vogue' house of Charles Tonline, founder of the Londis company and known for his book on football etiquette. Afterwards, pub stop at the Brewery Tap for beer, rum, Baileys, or Tango!
