Starting from the station at Congleton the canal is used to start with before using a track and field paths to reach Astbury from there we head back to the canal which is used to reach Acker's Crossing where the only ascent of the day is up to Mow Cop where the lunchtime is. The route follows the edge back to Congleton with short session on paths and canal to reach the station and pub

09:30: Meet at Manchester Piccadilly for the train at 09:46. You will need to purchase a ticket prior to meeting.

09:46: Train departs for the walk start at Congleton Station.

10:25: Walk starts at Congleton Station.

Return from Congleton Station. 13 mins past the hour
