Take Two..

Public Transport based walk with Steve Rawlins.

10.5 mi

A re-attempt of a bit of a classic Glossop route, this was abandoned last March due to extremely heavy snow.

We'll quickly head into open Moorland heading along the Doctor's Gate path before joining the Pennine Way. Once we've got to the Hern Stones we'll visit the 'Overexposed' crash site and the Higher Shelf Stones before heading back towards Glossop.

There may be the odd spot of mud/snow so gaitors or waterproofs may be useful.

For those wishing to drive there is plenty of off-street parking near Glossop Station
