Public Transport based walk with Aidan McGrath.
A linear walk form Greenfield Station to Newhey Tram Stop. The walk heads along the Huddersfield Narrow Canal through Uppermill and onto Diggle village where we leave the canal and walk over Hunters Hill to the Castleshaw Reservoirs. From there it's over Ox Hey Top to New Years Bridge Reservoir and through the village of Denshaw to the Rooden and Piethorne Reservoirs. The walk goes onto the village of Newhey and the walk end at Newhey tram stop.
P.S. Suitable footwear please as it is very wet and muddy in sections.
P.P.S. No dogs please as there are somewhat aggressive farm dogs en route.

08:45: Meet at Manchester Victoria for the train at 08:57. You will need to purchase a ticket prior to meeting.
Greater Manchester train and tram £8.
08:57: Train departs for the walk start at Greenfield Station.
09:25: Walk starts at Greenfield Station.
Return from Newhey Tram Station. Every 12mins
