Direct Transport based walk with Andy Buckley.
The third of the 3 highest peaks in the UK. If you have done the other two you might as well as do this one as well.
I'll be spending a long weekend in Fort William and would like to invite you to join me for the two walks I will be doing. Todays walk is going to be a walk to the highest point in the whole of the UK and the summit of Ben Nevis.
Please note, to get to the walk start there are two options:
1. Drive your own car to the pay and display car park.
2. Taxi share from Fort William for the 1.5 mile trip to the walk start. Car drivers may also be interested in this option due to the pub at the end. It costs about £7 each way. Also car drivers may be interested in this option due to pub at the end of the walk.
The plan is once we are back down from Ben Nevis to go to the pub at the foot of the mountain for a few drinks and food, however this is a popular pub called The Ben Nevis Inn that it would be wise for me to reserve tables for us, if you are interested in the food option or want any other information please e-mail me at the e-mail address below, if you want food please let me know by Friday 2nd September.
PLEASE NOTE PLEASE BRING YOUR WINTER GEAR WITH YOU AS IT COULD BE COLD AT THE SUMMIT
