Friday 24th February 2017: Table Tennis night at Twenty Twenty Two

Organiser:

Kate Atty

Description:

After the success of the MAD New Year's table tennis tournament in France, I thought it would be fun for us to have a re-run in Manchester. I've hired the private room at Twenty Twenty Two in the Northern Quarter which has two table tennis tables, so my plan is to run a singles and doubles competition. It doesn't matter if you're terrible at table tennis, the emphasis is on having fun (and after a few drinks, no-one will care anyway!). The room is ours up til 4am if we want it and there will be a DJ in the main bar from 10pm.

Booking:

MAD Members only - limit of 32. Please email me before 20th February on socials@madwalkers.org.uk if you want to book on to give me time to sort out the all-important draws!

The room hire was £50 so I'll split the cost between however many of us there are on the night. It should only be a few quid at most. If you just want to come for drinks and not take part in the competition, just let me know when you email me.

Venue/Time:

Twenty Twenty Two, 20 Dale Street, M1 1EZ. The room is booked from 8pm.

Friday 24th March 2017: The Managers Big Band gig

Ales and other refreshments will be served at the bar throughout the night. Have a listen to the Managers here: http://themanagersbigband.co.uk/

Venue/Time:

The Ukrainian Club, 99 Castle Street, Bolton, BL2 1JP. Doors open 7.30pm and the first set is at 8.30pm. Trains back at 22.34, 23.13 or 23.39. Otherwise meet us at the venue.
