14:30 on Saturday 7 November at The Deaf Institute. There will be a walk before and a social after.
... to the Manchester and District Walkers (MAD Walkers) 20s and 30s group, a local group of the
Ramblers Association for people who live in and
around the Greater Manchester area.
We've been around since 2004 and now have around 300 members, so are able to offer a
variety of walks to suit you and many other like-minded people - whatever your level of fitness!
We have a varied itinerary of day walks at weekends and also evening weekday walks during summer months.
We use both car and public transport to access the many excellent walking areas around Manchester and beyond.
See our Walks Calendar for all walk details.
Our weekends away are also very popular as they give our members a cost-effective and social way
to explore other areas of the country not so easily accessible with a day trip.
Social outings are also a big part of the group and have a separate section here.
Thinking of taking up walking?
Then join us on a walk! Or, come and meet us on our next regular Social Night on Wednesday 2nd September at The Knott Bar from 8:30pm onwards. If you are new to the group, ask for Becky. More details can be found on the New Members page.
